The Sansevieria trifasciata 'Moonshine' - a species of snake plant that is considered one of the most beautiful varieties, this hardy indoor plant has unique silvery green leaves, succulent characteristics and a compact shape. A multitasker, the snake plant purifies indoor air by removing toxins such as formaldehyde, xylene, and toluene. They store carbon dioxide acquired at night for use during the day and releases oxygen (one of the end products of photosynthesis) at night when the pores open.
It enjoys bright indirect light. In low light conditions, the leaves may turn a darker green but keep its silvery sheen. Moonshine is drought-tolerant. Let the soil dry out between watering, do not overwater.
